Our Transitional Kindergarten program serves as a bridge for children who, in essence, need the gift of time – time that is essential to absorb and express ideas, learn more about friendships, assert independence, and examine the world around them. The program will be language arts based and our staff will encourage children to practice expressive language skills through rhyme, song and poetry. Language skills involve reading, writing, speaking and listening. Using these skills will enhance relationships in the classroom.  Literacy is also integrated into many aspects of the school day including circle, art, science, math and social studies.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:45 – 1:00 p.m.
